Job Description
- To monitor and manage the audit and stocks team within the region and plan the audit program in regular intervals across the country.
- To conduct periodical inspection of all the branches within the region for stock audit/expense audit/freight audit.
- Reporting on anomalies and observations found during the period of audit by branch team & suggest further implementation.
- Periodic verification of statutory register and other records maintained by branch staff
- Assess the current state of the organization’s internal control framework and help the company drive value and efficiency in the internal controls by implementing leading practices.
- Find deviation report on basis of observation of audit report
- Assist in developing an audit plan and strategy to improve current business processes.
- Constantly monitor project progress, manage risk and verify key stakeholders are kept informed about progress and expected outcomes.
- Independently execute assignments and manage multiple assignments. Typical assignments shall comprise conducting reviews of systems, internal controls, re-engineering processes and deviation from the Standard Operating Procedures.
- Assist team members in developing technical and professional competency.
- Keep abreast of regulatory developments within or outside of the company as well as evolving best practices in compliance control.
- Prepare monthly reports for senior management and ensure timely compliance / closure of issues.
Key Skills
- Graduates having 15+ yrs exp of operations & its auditing in branch/Hub.
- Experience in working for a logistics company, having direct exposure in Branch Audit Stock checking etc.
- Exposure to various internal audit practices prevailing in the Logistic sector.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Basic working in computers.
