VP / COO Operations – Noida

Job Overview:

Sugam Group is in search of a highly skilled leader who will be responsible for Overall Operation Management across PAN India. The role will include organizing and monitoring warehouses/hub centers’, transshipment, and transportations of the goods, including door pickups and door deliveries. The goal is to manage the entire operation cycle to enhance business development and ensure sustainability and customer satisfaction. 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Leadership: Collaborate with the board of directors to design, communicate, and execute growth strategies and processes that enhance the subsidiary’s growth and performance.
  • Managing vehicle placement, disbursal, in -transit and on time deliveries at destination point within given TAT.
  • Managing all the documentations of vehicle and client’s products to be shipped before and after providing transporting service.
  • Managing All Hub Operations -Direct, optimize and coordinate a full operation cycle. Supervise daily sales and operations across all departments and offices within PAN India.
  • Ensure all field logistics operational processes that include the ordering, stocking, route planning, disbursement, processing and shipment are performed properly.
  • Strategically plan and manage warehouse, hubs /transshipment centers’, and transportation and customer services.
  • Implement, document and improve processes on information flow SOPS, Vendor Liasioning ,negotiation & on Boarding ,escalation handling and other things like ISO Requirements in different states.
  • Supervise, coach and train all operations personnel in support of customer services.
  • Maintain Metrices and analyze date to assess performance and implement improvements.

Skills & Qualifications: 

  • Experience: Minimum 20 years of work experience, with very large distribution Fleet/Trucks aggregation /sourcing of different types of vehicles or similar experience in handling huge fleets of trucks, route planning, pricing customs, field maintenance ,transshipment operations etc.
  • Knowledge of FTL, LTL, Express Logistics Management.
  • Core Expertise: Proven success in managing operations, as well as leading large teams.
  • Strategic Leadership: Capability to lead company diversification and expansion plans.
  • Analytical and    Problem-Solving Skills: Strong abilities in analytical thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making.
  • People Management: Ability to manage, coach, and mentor a diverse team of individuals.
  • Leadership: Excellent leadership & Communication abilities to elevate the company and team members.
  • Organization and Time Management: Excellent skills in organization and time management.
  • Integrity: Uncompromising business and personal integrity, and the ability to instill the same culture within the organization.
  • Process Implementation: Experience in setting up processes and SOPs.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Administration, or a related field. An MBA or equivalent is preferred.
